A Hand Up is an organization that aims to be part of the help for our community. It provides an opportunity to serve and give back to our community freely.
We are here to support our communities by providing jobs for those who want to increase their income and better their lives through our partnership program. We’re also looking forward to partnering with nonprofit organizations and our faith-based community. A portion of the proceeds that A Hand Up makes through the website will go back to our community to support Environment, Education, and food programs and anyone we see in need. This initiative was inspired by an ongoing dream that kept me awake at night. While having a casual conversation with my wife, I shared a glimpse of my dream with her that I had several times, which is related to giving back to the community. So, to turn that dreamy picture to life, she made me draw a rough draft representing my thoughts. Later, I took that rough draft to a printing shop and had them critique it, which was later converted into our current logo. At that time, several names came into my mind, but “A Hand Up” was the name that best fit our mission.
